Description
Process Controller gives you control over the prioritization of processes running on your systems. It gives you the ability to set the CPU, IO and RAM priority for any Windows process, and have that priority persisted even if the process is restarted.
Maybe you have a database server and the backup agent is consuming to may resources and fighting with the database engine over IO (been there). Perhaps your AV software on your workstations is eating CPU time when it updates and your users are up in arms whenever their laptop slows down (yup, we have been there to!). Process controller gives you the ability to set any of these types of processes to run at a choice of levels with regard to CPU usage, RAM allocation and even disk IO. The free version allows you to set the CPU priority of up to 5 processes, and licenses start from just over $100.
